The purpose of this tribute section is to showcase some of our past work and to contribute a little bit of history about a great race car driver, team owner, and family man.
We began after the start of the 1997 season. It was the 25th Anniversary season for 3 time Nascar Winston Cup Champion Darrell Waltrip. The web site dw17.com needed help. Expert Imaging took over and rebuilt a comprehensive site. Our efforts were recognized by The Sporting News '98 Racing Preview as "the best of the Nascar driver sites on the world wide web."
Little did we know that new '98 sponsors would last about 2 months. This set off a chain of historic events whereby Darrell Waltrip drove in 1998 for 3 distinct teams in both Chevrolets and Pontiacs, sold his Winston Cup and Truck teams, and finished up the year in the Japan driving a Ford for Robert Yates.
